Open Turquoise Heart

This is a two-part process and quite time consuming! 

Firstly glass squares have to be chopped up individually and filled with copper oxide powder which gives a beautiful turquoise bubbly effect. These are cooked overnight to make the glass spheres. 

Then they are formed into an open heart shape and cooked overnight again to attach them to the glass. Finally the heart is attached firmly to the front of the glass which makes it appear to float!
